In this six-week, twelve-hour asynchronous course, you will be able to meet the following objectives: 

  • Implement strategies for effectively scaffolding instruction for ELs of varying proficiency levels.
  • Use structured academic conversations to support ELs’ oral language development and understanding of content. 
  • Explore strategies for developing and implementing formative assessments to assess ELs’ language and content learning and plan instruction tailored to meet ELs’ specific academic needs. 
  • Develop strategies for collaborating with colleagues to support the instruction and assessment of ELs.

*Recurring dates and times are for registration purposes.  This PD is Asynchronous beginning on January 23 and ends March 8.

***To earn full CTLEs, please only register if you are willing to complete full requirements. No partial credit will be given.
